In the Tatvan district of Bitlis, 4-year-old Yağmur Sarıçağ, who was having a picnic with her family on the shore of Lake Van, disappeared in the water after a while after entering to cool off. Little Yağmur, pulled from the water by her relatives and those around her, could not be saved despite all the interventions of the health teams.
4-year-old Yağmur Sarıçağ, who went on a picnic with her family on the shore of Lake Van in the Tatvan district of Bitlis, drowned after entering the water.
The incident occurred in the evening hours on the coast of Kale Neighborhood. Yağmur, who came to the lake shore with her family, entered the water after a while. Her family and those around, noticing that the little child had disappeared from sight, reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
THOSE AROUND PULLED HER OUT OF THE WATER
Upon the report, health and police teams were dispatched to the region. Yağmur, who was pulled out of the water with the help of those around, was intervened by health teams.
However, despite all interventions, the 4-year-old child could not be saved.
THE SAD NEWS DEVASTATED THE FAMILY
Yağmur Sarıçağ's lifeless body was taken to the hospital morgue for an autopsy after examinations at the scene.
An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
