The incident occurred in the morning hours at Kumcağız Beach in the Kandıra district. According to the information obtained, a woman who entered the sea was in danger of drowning as the waves increased. Arif Tosun, 19, who rushed to his sister's aid, also entered the sea.
HIS SISTER SURVIVED BUT HE LOST HIS LIFE
Tosun and his sister were rescued by the teams and pulled out of the water. It was learned that Arif Tosun, who was taken to the hospital by health teams, lost his life despite all interventions, while his sister was saved.
THE FAMILY'S MOST PAINFUL DAY
After the incident, entering the sea was banned in the area due to adverse weather conditions. It was learned that Arif Tosun's funeral will be buried today after the funeral prayer to be held at Kullar Central Mosque following the afternoon prayer.
