A citizen who got stuck hanging on the railings of the lower floor while trying to descend from the balcony of a second-floor apartment in a 3-story building in Antalya was rescued by fire crews who arrived at the scene upon neighbors' notification, using a ladder intervention.
A citizen, who was stranded while trying to descend from the balcony of an apartment on the second floor of a three-story building in Antalya, was rescued by a ladder from the fire department team that arrived upon notification.
ASKED NEIGHBORS FOR HELP
In the incident that occurred around 16:30 at a three-story building on 2105 Street in Ulus District, O.A., who had gone out to the balcony of the apartment on the second floor, became stranded on the lower floor's balcony while attempting to climb down.
O.A., holding onto the balcony railings, was unable to free himself on his own and asked his neighbors for help. Upon notification to the 112 Emergency Call Center, fire department teams were dispatched to the address.

The arriving fire department team rescued O.A., who was hanging from the balcony railings using a ladder. The moment of the incident was recorded by bystanders with mobile phones.
“I SAW HIM HANGING WHEN I ARRIVED”
Kadir Kocabıçak, who came to the area to retrieve his vehicle, said, "My neighbors called me. They said the fire department was coming and asked me to move my car. When I arrived, I saw the citizen hanging. The fire department rescued him. I don't know why he went up there or how he got stuck."
