In the Çumra district of Konya, two people died and two were injured as a result of a collision between a truck and a car. The truck driver was taken into custody.

Two people died and two others were injured in a traffic accident in the Çumra district of Konya.

The accident occurred on the İçeriçumra - Çumra road. According to information obtained, a truck with license plate 33 ABY 478 driven by F.A. (26) collided with a car with license plate 42 AGA 464. In the accident, Alparslan A. (29) and Mustafa B. (29) died at the scene, while M.E.C. (27) and A.E.C. (27) were injured.

 

TRUCK DRIVER TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

Upon notification, police, fire brigade, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were taken to the hospital by ambulances and placed under treatment. The truck driver, F.A., was taken into custody by police teams.

An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
