There has been a new statement from US President Donald Trump regarding Iran. Trump said, "Qatar, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia asked me to postpone the attack on Iran. I have postponed the attack on Iran until tomorrow. Very serious negotiations are currently underway."

US President Donald Trump said that "the planned military strike on Iran for tomorrow has been postponed" at the request of the leaders of Qatar, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.

TRUMP'S STATEMENT ON IRAN

US President Donald Trump announced that he has postponed the planned military strike on Iran for tomorrow. Trump stated that the leaders of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Saudi Arabia requested him to halt the strike.

"WE WERE PLANNING A STRIKE ON IRAN TOMORROW"

In his statement, Trump said: "We were planning to carry out a strike on Iran tomorrow. The Emir of Qatar, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, and the President of the United Arab Emirates requested a postponement of the planned military strike against Iran.

We will not carry out the planned strike on Iran tomorrow. I have instructed the military to be prepared for an immediate, full-scale, and large-scale strike against Iran if an acceptable agreement is not reached."

PEZESHKIAN: DIALOGUE DOES NOT MEAN SURRENDER

A statement also came from Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. Pezeshkian emphasized that they will not back down from protecting their country's interests. Stressing that the Iranian administration engages in dialogue while safeguarding the people's interests and will not waive legal rights under any circumstances, Pezeshkian said, "Dialogue does not mean surrender."

Pezeshkian also stated that they will be the protectors of Iran's interests with all their strength.

Meanwhile, a Pakistani source speaking to the Reuters news agency said that Iran's revised proposal had been officially conveyed to the US via Pakistan. The report noted that the proposal was a new diplomatic initiative aimed at reducing tensions between Tehran and Washington.

PAKISTAN: WE DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME LEFT

The Pakistani source stated that the negotiation process has reached a very sensitive stage. Noting that the parties are constantly changing the terms on the table, the source said, "We don't have much time left. Both sides keep moving the goalposts and shifting targets." The statement indicated that uncertainty persists in the diplomatic talks.

BACKCHANNEL DIPLOMACY GAINS PACE

The development is considered to have occurred during a period when backchannel diplomacy aimed at ending ongoing conflicts in the region through diplomatic means is gaining momentum. It remains unclear what roadmap the parties will follow based on Iran's new proposal.
