Trump, who appeared before cameras with his team, announced that he would make billions of dollars in private sector investments to build artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure in the U.S.
$500 BILLION AI PROJECT
Trump said that OpenAI, SoftBank, and Oracle would establish a joint venture called Stargate. Trump added, "This is a very large group of talent and money. The leading technology giants in the world are announcing the establishment of Stargate. A new American company will invest at least $500 billion in AI infrastructure in the United States. More than 100,000 American jobs will be created." The President also mentioned that he would help facilitate the project "through emergency orders."
"ARE WE FOOLS? EUROPE SHOULD HELP UKRAINE"
After his statements, President Trump answered questions from reporters. Trump responded to a reporter's question regarding the Russia-Ukraine War with pointed remarks. In response to a question about the continuation of support for Ukraine during the Biden administration, Trump said:
"There is an ocean between us and Ukraine. It is a country closer to Europe. The war will affect them more. Are we fools? Europe should help Ukraine."
