The official schedule of US President Trump within the scope of the NATO Summit has been announced by the White House. Trump, who will conduct an intensive diplomatic traffic at Beştepe, has critical bilateral meetings with President Erdoğan, Ukrainian leader Zelensky, and Syrian President Shara on his agenda; notably, no visit to Anıtkabir is currently included in the program. On the other hand, previous statements had indicated that Trump would visit Anıtkabir.

The capital Ankara is hosting the critical NATO Summit on July 7-8, where the progress made since the 2025 Hague Summit and the alliance's priorities will be discussed. The agenda of US President Donald Trump, who is visiting Turkey for the summit, has also become clear.

ANITKABIR DETAIL DRAWS ATTENTION

In the official working schedule shared by the White House, the visit to Anıtkabir, which was frequently included in previous US presidents' visits to Turkey, was not included. Reuters correspondent Humeyra Pamuk also drew attention to the issue, stating that Trump's Ankara program does not include a visit to Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's mausoleum, that the current planning is this way, but last-minute changes may occur in the program.
