U.S. President Donald Trump said he is 100 percent sure that Iran will stop uranium enrichment and abandon efforts to produce nuclear weapons.
US President Trump, in an interview with WABC Radio, assessed the latest situation regarding Iran.
Trump stated that Iranian officials told him they would "deliver enriched uranium to the US," and expressed that he is "100 percent" sure Iran will stop uranium enrichment and abandon efforts to produce nuclear weapons.
Trump also said that the US would remove nuclear dust from the nuclear facilities struck in Iran, adding that discussions on this matter are ongoing.
"WE WON'T RUSH"
In response to a question about whether there is any pressure on him to make a deal with Iran, Trump replied, "There is no pressure on me, we won't rush anything, we have many cards in hand."
"IRAN CANNOT HAVE NUCLEAR WEAPONS"
Answering questions from the press for the last time at the White House before his trip to China, Trump said, "It is impossible for Iran to have nuclear weapons. They will not have nuclear weapons. They know that. They have accepted it. We don't play games. We are just trying to make a good deal. I believe it will be very good for the American people in any case. Actually, I think it will be very good for the Iranian people as well. I don't think we need help on Iran. We will win one way or another. We will win through peaceful means or otherwise."
