According to the latest weather forecasts from Meteorology, a large part of Turkey is under the influence of heavy rain. Thrace, eastern Marmara, the Black Sea, central and eastern parts of Central Anatolia, Eastern Anatolia, and eastern Mediterranean will experience severe thunderstorms and heavy downpours. The precipitation is expected to become effective after 12:00 PM.
According to the latest assessments by the Turkish State Meteorological Service, it is predicted that the country will be partly and very cloudy, with intermittent showers and thunderstorms in the Marmara, Black Sea, and Eastern Anatolia regions, as well as the eastern Mediterranean, northern and eastern Central Anatolia, and northern Southeastern Anatolia. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the northeastern part of Eastern Anatolia.
No significant change in temperature is expected; it is forecast to remain above seasonal norms in western parts and around seasonal norms elsewhere. Winds are expected to blow from the south, light to occasionally moderate.
HEAVY RAIN WARNING
Since precipitation is expected to be locally heavy today (Wednesday) in northeastern Eastern Anatolia, relevant authorities and citizens are advised to be cautious and take precautions.

According to the report, showers and thunderstorms are expected in Çanakkale, Istanbul, Kırklareli, Sakarya, Adana, Hatay, Ankara, Nevşehir, Bolu, Düzce, Kastamonu, Zonguldak, Amasya, Artvin, Samsun, Trabzon, Erzurum, Kars, Malatya, Van, Diyarbakır, Mardin, and Siirt.
