It has been reported that U.S. and Israeli officials have taken action regarding Donald Trump's plan to exile Palestinians in Gaza. According to news in the U.S. press, contacts have been made with Sudan, Somalia, and Somaliland for the Palestinians planned to be removed from the Gaza Strip.

U.S. President Donald Trump stated during a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom he hosted at the White House on February 4, that the U.S. would "take over" the Gaza Strip and "own" it.

THEY HAVE MOVED FOR ACTION FOR THE GAZA PLAN

Trump, who suggested that Palestinians living in Gaza had no option but to leave, pointed to new settlements to be built in neighboring countries, primarily Egypt and Jordan. While Trump's exile plan drew reactions, the American Associated Press (AP) news agency reported that Israel and the U.S. have moved into action for the Gaza plan. According to AP's report, which is based on Israeli and U.S. officials, contacts have been made with officials from three East African countries to settle Palestinians planned to be removed from the Gaza Strip.

SUDAN, SOMALIA, AND SOMALILAND

It was stated that the countries contacted by U.S. and Israeli officials to settle Palestinians from Gaza are Sudan, Somalia, and Somaliland. Speaking about the secret diplomatic initiative, an official confirmed that contacts have been made with officials from the three East African countries.

Officials said it is unclear how much progress has been made in the contacts or at what level the discussions have taken place. Sudanese officials announced that they have rejected offers from the U.S. Somali and Somaliland officials, on the other hand, stated that they were not aware of such contact.

U.S. officials, stating that Israel is leading the discussions, expressed that efforts to reach the three countries began last month, but the acceleration of the process started days after Trump unveiled the Gaza plan with Netanyahu.

STEPPED BACK: DENIED HIS OWN PLAN

U.S. President Donald Trump, who drew the world's reaction with plans to send Palestinians to neighboring countries during the reconstruction process of the Gaza Strip, claimed in a new statement that "no one is deporting Palestinians from Gaza." While hosting Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin at the White House, Trump responded to a reporter's question directed at Martin, "Are you discussing President Trump's plan to remove Palestinians from Gaza with him?" by interjecting, "No one is deporting Palestinians."

The U.S. President's plan to evacuate Gaza was welcomed by Israel, and far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich had stated that they were working on a proposal to exile the population to Jordan, Egypt, and other Arab countries.
