US President Donald Trump claimed that Iran's navy and air force have collapsed, issuing a threat by saying, "The only question now is: Are we going to go in and finish the job, or will they sign a deal?" While Trump's "We'll hit hard" threats continue, Iranian media stated that Washington has responded to Tehran's 14-point proposal, saying, "The US has conveyed a new offer to Iran through Pakistani mediators."
US President Donald Trump made assessments regarding the Iran agenda in his speech at the Coast Guard Academy Graduation Ceremony in Connecticut.
"THE ONLY QUESTION NOW IS: WILL WE GO IN AND FINISH THE JOB, OR WILL THEY SIGN A DEAL?"
Stating that the US military is doing "important work" and has recently taken "successful steps" in Venezuela and Iran, Trump claimed that they have seriously damaged Iran's military capacity.
Trump said, "(Iran) has lost everything, their navies are gone, their air force is gone, almost everything. The only question now is: Will we go in and finish the job, or will they sign a deal? Let's see what happens."
"WE CAN STRIKE IRAN HARD"
Trump continued his remarks as follows: "Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon, we will never allow that. Many countries around the world support us on this. We can strike Iran hard."
"US DELIVERED A NEW OFFER TO IRAN THROUGH PAKISTANI MEDIATORS"
Meanwhile, in a report by Iran's semi-official Tasnim News Agency, citing a source close to the Tehran negotiation team, it was stated that after Iran sent its 14-point proposal 3 days ago, the US delivered a new offer to Iran through Pakistani mediators.
In the report, which noted that Iran is reviewing the latest offer and has not responded, it was stated that the Pakistani mediator is in Tehran to resolve differences in the proposals, emphasizing that nothing has been finalized yet.
PAKISTAN'S INTERIOR MINISTER IN TEHRAN
Spokesman of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ismail Bagai, made statements regarding the ongoing exchange of messages with the US, stating that the purpose of Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi's visit to Iran was to facilitate the exchange of messages with the US and provide additional clarifications to clarify the texts sent between the parties. Bagai stated that despite "strong and reasonable suspicions" against the US side, Iran continues negotiations with "seriousness and goodwill."
