Trump: We will not lift the blockade in Hormuz until there is an agreement with Iran.

U.S. President Donald Trump made another statement ahead of potential negotiations with Iran expected to take place in Pakistan. Trump said, "We will not lift the blockade in the Strait of Hormuz until there is an agreement. This is completely destroying Iran. They are losing 500 million dollars a day."

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he would maintain his tough stance against Iran ahead of critical negotiations planned in Pakistan. Emphasizing that the naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz would not be lifted until an agreement is reached, Trump stated that this situation has "completely devastated" the Iranian economy.

"IRAN'S DAILY LOSS IS 500 MILLION DOLLARS"

Trump claimed that Iran's daily financial loss due to the imposed restrictions has reached 500 million dollars. While the Washington administration aims to bring Tehran to the negotiating table with this economic pressure, military and diplomatic tensions in the region have reached a peak ahead of the talks in Pakistan.

On the other hand, Trump stated in a post on his Truth Social account that they are closer to an agreement with Iran while targeting the Obama administration. Trump said, "The agreement we will sign with Iran will be much better than the JCPOA, which was written by Barack Obama and Joe Biden and is generally referred to as the Iran Nuclear Agreement."

HEAVY CRITICISM OF OBAMA AND BIDEN

Trump argued that the nuclear agreement during the Obama era was "one of the worst deals ever made" for the U.S. and the Middle East, claiming that the agreement opened the path for Iran to develop nuclear weapons.

Stating that the U.S. administration at the time sent billions of dollars in cash to Iran by plane, Trump also claimed that billions of dollars were paid to Tehran.

The U.S. President assessed, "If an agreement is made during the Trump era, it will guarantee peace, security, and safety not only for Israel and the Middle East but also for Europe, America, and everywhere else."

In his recent statements regarding Iran, Trump expressed that Vice President JD Vance would participate in the negotiations in Islamabad and hoped that an agreement could be signed with Iran "tonight."

"OUR NAVY HAS ALREADY CLOSED THE STRAIT"

Additionally, Trump said in a previous statement: "Iran decided to fire in the Strait of Hormuz yesterday. A complete violation of the ceasefire agreement! Most of the bullets targeted a French and a British ship. It wasn't pleasant, was it? My representatives are going to Islamabad, Pakistan. They will be there tomorrow evening for negotiations. Iran recently announced that it would close the Strait, which is strange because our navy has already closed the strait.

They are inadvertently helping us, and they are the ones losing 500 million dollars a day due to the closure of the strait! The U.S. is losing nothing. In fact, many ships are currently heading to the U.S., Texas, Louisiana, and Alaska to load, thanks to the courtesy of the Revolutionary Guards, who always want to be the "tough guy"!

"THERE ARE NO GOOD GUYS LEFT"

We are offering a very fair and reasonable deal, and I hope they accept it because if they don't, the U.S. will obliterate every power plant and every bridge in Iran. There are no good guys left! They will be quickly and easily destroyed, and if they do not accept the deal, it will be an honor for me to do what should have been done to Iran by other presidents over the last 47 years. It is time to end the Iranian death machine."

TRUMP SIGNALS DIRECT MEETING

On the other hand, Trump stated that he is open to meeting face-to-face with Iranian leaders if the conditions are right, saying, "I have no problem meeting with them. If they want to meet... We have very talented people, but I can also meet."

NUCLEAR CONDITION

Trump stated that there is "one demand that will not change" at the core of the negotiations: "They should eliminate their nuclear weapons. It's very simple. There is no place for nuclear weapons." He noted that if Iran accepts this condition, the country has the potential for development, saying, "Otherwise, it could be a great country."

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE TABLE COLLAPSES?

Regarding what would happen if Iran does not accept this condition or if the negotiation table collapses, Trump avoided giving details, saying, "You can guess that nice things won't happen."

In response to a question about who the U.S. is dealing with on the Iranian side, Trump replied, "We have a pretty good idea, and we think we are talking to the right people."
