On the 40th day of the passing of the master artist Ferdi Tayfur, who passed away in January, prayers will be held at various locations.
Master artist Ferdi Tayfur passed away on January 2 due to liver and kidney failure while receiving treatment in the hospital. His daughter, Tuğçe Tayfur, announced that 40 prayer services will be held for the artist at different locations tomorrow.
The death of Ferdi Tayfur, which plunged Turkey into mourning, was announced by his niece Şirin Gözalıcı, who stated that a prayer service would be held at Levent Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque on the 40th day of the late artist's passing.
PRAYER SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT DIFFERENT LOCATIONS
The artist's daughter, Tuğçe Tayfur, explained on her social media account that a prayer service will be held for her father at Eyüp Sultan Mosque with the following words:
"On the 40th day of our late father's passing, a Mevlid-i Sharif will be read on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 19:00 at Eyüp Sultan Mosque. It is announced to all his loved ones and friends. Ferdi Tayfur Family..."
"YOUR NAME WILL REACH THE HEAVENS"
Tuğçe Tayfur also shared a photo with her father on her social media account, saying, "Do you know there is something called body language? Tomorrow, we will meet in prayers with your loved ones. Your name will reach the heavens from Eyüp Sultan Mosque, God willing."
