Accordingly, the monthly food expenditure required for a healthy, balanced, and sufficient diet (hunger threshold) for a family of four living in Ankara is 20,431.83 TL, while the total amount of other mandatory monthly expenses (poverty threshold) for food, clothing, housing (rent, electricity, water, fuel), transportation, education, health, and similar needs has risen to 66,553.19 TL.
During this period, when the minimum wage is applied at 17.2 TL, the gap between the hunger threshold and the minimum wage has reached 3,429 TL.
The 'cost of living' for a single worker has also risen to 26,526.77 TL per month.

The increase in food inflation is calculated as 3.03% monthly and 49.31% annually, while the annual average increase is realized at 68.07%.
