In a head-on collision between two cars in the Sarıçam district of Adana, a couple lost their lives, while their 4-year-old child and 2 people in the other vehicle were injured.
In a head-on collision between two cars in Adana's Sarıçam district, a husband and wife died, while their 4-year-old child and two people in the other vehicle were injured. The accident occurred in the evening hours in Menekşe neighborhood, Sarıçam district. A car with license plate 01 ASA 361, driven by Ramazan D. (29), collided head-on with a car with license plate 43 SK 893, driven by Muhammed Burak Çiçek (30). Upon notification from nearby drivers, numerous health, police, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene.
HUSBAND AND WIFE DIED AT THE SCENE
During the health teams' inspection, it was found that driver Muhammed Burak Çiçek and his wife Suzan Çiçek (28) died due to the force of the collision, while the couple's 4-year-old daughter D.B.Ç., the other car's driver Ramazan D., and S.D., who was in the vehicle, were injured. Among the injured, D.B.Ç. was taken to Adana City Hospital, Ramazan D. was severely injured and taken to Çukurova University Medical Faculty Balcalı Hospital, and S.D. was taken to Seyhan State Hospital for treatment.
POLICE LAUNCHED A COMPREHENSIVE INVESTIGATION INTO THE ACCIDENT
The lifeless bodies of the deceased husband and wife were taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy after the scene investigation. Police launched a comprehensive investigation into the accident.
