After arguing in traffic in Başakşehir, 2 drivers who got out of their vehicles and fought were fined a total of 360,000 lira. The drivers’ licenses were confiscated for 60 days, and their vehicles were banned from traffic for 60 days. The moments the drivers fought were captured by another vehicle’s camera.
Following the publication on social media of footage of a fight between drivers in traffic in Başakşehir, teams from the Başakşehir District Police Department Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate launched an investigation.
THEY FOUGHT WITH KICKS AND PUNCHES
In the course of the work carried out, it was determined that the driver of the light commercial vehicle with license plate 34 NUM 230, O.D., and those with him cut off and attacked the vehicle with license plate 44 AJE 786 belonging to driver M.T., with whom they had argued in traffic. It was determined that when M.T. also got out of his vehicle, a fight involving kicks and punches broke out between the parties.
A FINE OF 360 THOUSAND TL WAS IMPOSED
After the license plates and identities were identified, the drivers of the two vehicles and the people involved in the fight were apprehended. A total of 360 thousand lira in traffic fines was issued to the two drivers brought to the police station, and their driver's licenses were confiscated for 60 days. The vehicles were also banned from traffic for 60 days.
