New bomb threats have been added to those made against passenger planes in Europe. Bomb threats were made against two planes departing from Prague Airport in Czechia. While the pilots declared an emergency, one of the planes made an emergency landing at Venice Airport and the other at Bucharest Airport.

Two planes departing from Prague Airport declared an emergency following a bomb threat and made emergency landings at Venice and Bucharest airports. It was reported that the threats turned out to be false and that European airspace had been on alert for the past three days due to bomb threats.

BOMB THREATS WERE MADE AGAINST PASSENGER AIRCRAFT

European airspace has been on alert for the past three days due to bomb threats made against aircraft. Aircraft carrying hundreds of passengers had to land at other airports under the supervision of fighter jets because of the threats. The threats were learned to be false. Today, while the aircraft operating the Prague-Rome flight was en route, the aircraft's pilot declared an emergency.

The aircraft was directed to Venice Airport and made an emergency landing. A bomb threat was also made against the aircraft operating the Prague-Bucharest flight. As the pilot declared an emergency, the aircraft made an emergency landing at Bucharest Airport. Necessary security measures were also taken at both airports.

BOMB THREATS WERE MADE AGAINST MORE THAN 20 AIRCRAFT

Since the beginning of this week, bomb threats have been made regarding two Wizz Air flights, one LOT Airlines flight, and one Scandinavian Airlines flight. While security measures were taken at the European airports where landings were made due to the threats, disruptions also occurred in other flights. While authorities have not made a statement about the source and reasons for the threats, it drew attention that the aircraft against which threats were made were flights heading to destinations in Eastern Europe. A plane going from Bergamo, Italy, to Sofia, Bulgaria, was searched after landing on November 3 following a threat made to Bulgarian authorities. On Monday, a plane going from London Luton Airport to Sofia was directed to Budapest for the same reason and was escorted by fighter jets. The Bulgarian Ministry of Transport announced that a Ryanair plane carrying 185 passengers from Dublin was checked after landing in Sofia. An SAS flight operating between Copenhagen and Warsaw also received a bomb threat. Yesterday, a plane operating the Dublin-Rome flight was directed to Évreux-Fauville Air Base.
