HE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN SERGEN YALÇIN'S SQUAD
Sergen Yalçın, the new head coach of the National Team, did not include Mert Müldür in the preliminary squad he announced for the Belgium and France matches.
The Fenerbahçe player was not included in Yalçın's list, as he preferred Abdülkerim Bardakcı, Ahmetcan Kaplan, Emirhan Topçu, Eren Elmalı, Merih Demiral, Ferdi Kadıoğlu, Mustafa Eskihellaç, Ozan Kabak and Zeki Çelik in the defense line.
HE DID NOT SAY A SINGLE WORD IN HIS POST
While Mert Müldür's sharing of a photo taken in the national team jersey after being left out of the preliminary squad drew attention, the player did not make any assessment about the decision in his post. For this reason, it is unknown whether the black-and-white photo is a direct reaction to the squad preference.
