After two people were brought to the hospital with suspected poisoning, the emergency department of Sincan Training and Research Hospital was temporarily closed to service.
SECURITY PROTOCOLS ACTIVATED AT THE HOSPITAL
According to the information obtained, the incident took place in the evening hours. Two people, assessed as having been poisoned by exposure to a chemical substance, were quickly brought to the emergency department of Sincan Training and Research Hospital. Immediately after the patients' admission, hospital management took action against the possibility of a potential chemical leak or contamination risk.
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT EVACUATED
Due to the chemical risk in question, and to ensure the safety of other people inside the hospital, the emergency department was temporarily closed to service because of a potential contamination risk. Other patients receiving treatment inside and their relatives were quickly evacuated outside the building as a precautionary measure. It was stated that decontamination and detailed investigation efforts were ongoing in the area.
