Dan used the following statements in his statement: "This morning, the ship Khoryv, flying the flag of the Comoros Islands, sank after being subjected to an unmanned aerial vehicle attack near Romanian territorial waters. Unfortunately, 1 sailor lost his life and 3 sailors are still being searched for. I congratulate the rescue teams from the Ministry of Internal Affairs; without their intervention, the loss of life would have been much higher. This attack is a new example of the tragic consequences of Russia's aggression against Ukraine. The time has come for Russia to take the peace initiatives of the US and Europe seriously, accept ceasefire proposals, and end the war."
