The Ukrainian representative Shakhtar Donetsk had defeated the Dutch team AZ Alkmaar 3-0 in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League quarter-finals. 

ISAQUE SUFFERED AN INJURY

According to the news in Sport; Isaque, the star player of the Ukrainian team, experienced a head trauma in the 5th minute and continued playing after the medical team's intervention. However, the 19-year-old footballer could not stay on the field any longer and exited the game in the 24th minute.

PENALTY FOR SHAKHTAR DONETSK AND ARDA TURAN

UEFA imposed separate fines on Shakhtar Donetsk and Arda Turan for the violation of the "Non-compliance with procedures to be applied in case of serious injury to players - Concussion Protocol Violation" clause.

UEFA fined Shakhtar Donetsk 10,000 euros and Arda Turan 20,000 euros. Additionally, the club was required to organize concussion training for the technical staff, players, and club personnel. Furthermore, Shakhtar Donetsk also received a fine of 20,000 euros for the "Transmission of messages inappropriate for sports events" clause.
