Mohamed Amin Chaib, President of the Belgian Muslim Rights Monitoring Organization, stated that what happened cannot be considered an ordinary case of vandalism.
Chaib described the attack as a "disgusting and blatant display" of Islamophobia and called on local authorities to increase the security of mosques.
