The incident occurred in the Fatih Neighborhood of the district. According to claims, after a bad odor emanated from the home of Erol Demirdoğan, who lived alone in the area, his neighbors reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
TEAMS ENTERING THE BATHROOM ENCOUNTERED A HORRIFYING SCENE
Upon the report, Malatya Metropolitan Municipality fire brigade teams arrived at the scene, opened the door, and entered the home. The teams found Demirdoğan motionless in the bathroom. In the initial examination, it was determined that Demirdoğan had lost his life.
CAUSE OF DEATH TO BE INVESTIGATED
While no suspicion of murder was found according to initial assessments in the incident, Erol Demirdoğan's body was taken to the forensic medicine institution to determine the exact cause of death.
An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
