DRONE ATTACK ON RUSSIA'S OIL REFINERY
A fire broke out at the Ilsky Oil Refinery in Ukraine's Krasnodar region following a drone attack. The Ilsky Oil Refinery, which has a daily processing capacity of approximately 140,000 barrels of oil, had been targeted by Ukraine on several previous occasions.
Ukraine also targeted the city of Taganrog in the Rostov region. Rostov Regional Governor Yuri Slyusar announced in a statement that fires that broke out at two fuel depots and at the Taganrog Sea Port in the region were being responded to.
STATEMENT FROM THE MAYOR
Taganrog Mayor Svetlana Kambulova, in her statement, reported that residents in the targeted areas were evacuated, noting that a house was damaged and a fire broke out on the roof of an administrative building. Authorities reported that according to preliminary assessments, there were no casualties or injuries in the attacks.
RUSSIA INTERCEPTED 376 DRONES
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that 376 Ukrainian drones were shot down by air defense systems overnight.
Meanwhile, Ukraine's attacks on oil refineries have caused fuel shortages across Russia, leading to long queues at gas stations and rising fuel prices in the country.
