In Şişli, Istanbul, an argument that started when 13-year-old R.Ş.E. went to her mother's house to get the ID needed for her school registration quickly escalated. The tension spilled out onto the street, where a fight involving kicks and punches broke out between mother Nurşen K., Dilek E., and R.Ş.E. The incident was recorded on a cell phone camera, and the two sisters filed a complaint against their mother. Nurşen K., who was taken into custody, was released after her statement to the prosecutor's office.
In Şişli, Dilek E. (42) and her stepsister R.Ş.E. (13), whose custody she holds, went to the building where their mother Nurşen K. (51) lives to get the ID required for school enrollment. After an argument broke out between R.Ş.E., who went to the house alone, and her mother, a fight involving kicks and punches erupted on the street between Nurşen K. and the two siblings. Dilek E. and R.Ş.E. filed a complaint against Nurşen K., claiming that their mother started the fight. Nurşen K., who was taken into custody, was released after her statement to the prosecutor's office. The fight was captured on the cell phone cameras of those nearby.
The incident occurred yesterday at around 11:30 in the Gülbahar neighborhood. According to the claim, Dilek E. came to the building where her mother Nurşen K. lives with her stepsister R.Ş.E., whose custody she holds, to get the ID to be used for her sibling's school enrollment. While Dilek E. waited by her car, R.Ş.E. went upstairs to get the ID. When Nurşen K. asked her son, "Who did you come with?", an argument broke out between the two. After the argument, a dispute also occurred between Nurşen K., who came down to the street, and Dilek E. The argument, which quickly escalated, turned into a fight with kicks and punches. During the fight, Dilek E., R.Ş.E., and Nurşen K. hit each other.
THEY EXCHANGED KICKS AND PUNCHES
Following the incident, Dilek E. and R.Ş.E. filed a complaint against their mother Nurşen K. The parties were taken to the Şişli Domestic Violence and Violence Against Women Bureau for processing. Legal proceedings were initiated against Nurşen K. for 'intentional injury', 'threat', and 'insult'. After her procedures at the police station, Nurşen K. was released by the prosecutor's office to which she was referred.
