In Istanbul's Kağıthane district, a 23-year-old young man stabbed a barber approximately 10 days after being dissatisfied with his haircut. While the barber, who was injured in the leg, received treatment at the hospital, it was claimed that the detained suspect has a psychological disorder. The barber, Erhan Zengin, stated that if the attacker had come and told him about the situation, he could have fixed the haircut, and expressed his anxiety about the incident.

The incident occurred in the Kağıthane district of Istanbul a few weeks ago. According to the claim, a 23-year-old young man went to a barber about 10 days ago to get his hair cut. The young man, who didn't like his haircut, held the barber Erhan Zengin, who cut his hair, responsible. It was alleged that the customer became obsessed with the incident.
ALLEGEDLY STAKED OUT THE BARBER FOR HOURS
According to the claim, the day before the incident, the attacker went to a restaurant across from the barbershop, ordered a drink, and watched the barber for hours. The next day, the suspect came to the same restaurant again and waited for barber Erhan Zengin to come out.
"HE PULLED OUT THE KNIFE AND STABBED MY LEG"
Speaking to NTV, barber Erhan Zengin described the moment of the attack with these words: "I cut his hair, after the haircut he thanked me and paid. He left without any issues. He had a delusion in his head, he came and watched me. He had been following me since the previous day."
Describing the attack moment, Zengin said, "I was wiping my hands and face. He was standing behind me. At that moment, he pulled out the knife, stabbed my leg, and charged at me. I threw myself into the shop and escaped that way."
ATTACKER TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
Erhan Zengin, wounded in the leg, was taken under treatment at the hospital. Zengin said he knows the attacker and does not want to press charges against him. The suspect, allegedly having a psychological disorder, was taken into custody by police teams.
"IF HE HAD COME AND TOLD ME, I WOULD HAVE FIXED IT"
Stating that he is worried after the incident he experienced, Erhan Zengin said, "He could have come and said 'Brother, I didn't like the haircut,' and I would have fixed it. I am worried, what if he comes again? He has some illness. I saved myself well. He had a bread knife. If he had a gun, he could have fired it too."
