SHE ASKED NEIGHBORS FOR HELP WHEN THE DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN
The incident occurred around 3:30 PM in a two-story house on Paşa Camii Street in the Tuzcular neighborhood of Muratpaşa district. German citizen Arthur Strudel and his Russian partner E.L. lived together. On Saturday, E.L. went to Russia to pick up her daughter. Returning to Antalya today, E.L. arrived at the house they had bought together about six months ago. After knocking on the door and receiving no answer, she asked neighbors for help.
SHE ENCOUNTERED A PAINFUL SIGHT
After a neighbor entered through the garden gate and opened the door, E.L. went inside and found her boyfriend Arthur Strudel motionless on the upper floor. Upon her screaming, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The health team confirmed that Strudel had died.
THE CAUSE OF DEATH WILL BE DETERMINED BY AUTOPSY
After the municipal physician deemed the death suspicious, teams from the Antalya Police Department's Public Order Branch, Homicide Bureau, and Crime Scene Investigation were dispatched. Following their examination of the house, Strudel's body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue to determine the exact cause of death.
