CIVILIANS KILLED IN U.S. ATTACKS
In a report by the Houthi-owned Al-Masirah television, it was stated, "In the airstrike carried out by the enemy U.S. on a building in the Asr neighborhood of the Main district in the capital Sana, 4 people lost their lives." The report also mentioned that many civilians were injured in the attack.
It was noted that U.S. warplanes also carried out attacks on various areas of the city of Hudaydah in Yemen.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On March 7, the Houthis announced that they had given Israel a 4-day deadline to allow aid to enter Gaza, otherwise they would resume naval operations against Israel.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced on March 15 via his Truth Social platform account that he had instructed the military to launch a "major attack" against the Houthis in Yemen.
The leader of the Houthis, Abdulmalik al-Houthi, stated that U.S. aircraft and warships would be targets of the Houthis, adding that as long as they continued their attacks, the disruptions in maritime operations would also affect Washington.
The Houthis reported that 79 people were killed and 107 were injured in airstrikes carried out by the U.S. and the U.K. on several cities, including the capital Sana.
