The eyes of retirees have turned to the bonus payments to be made during the Ramadan and Eid al-Adha holidays in 2025 since the beginning of the year. Following the statement by AK Party Group Chairman Abdullah Güler at the beginning of the week that the holiday bonuses for retirees would be increased from 3,000 lira to 4,000 lira, attention has now shifted to the legislative arrangements in the Parliament.

NEW BONUSES ARE ON THE PARLIAMENT AGENDA

It is expected that the holiday bonuses for retirees will also pass through the Parliament as part of the omnibus law. The new consistent bonuses for retirees, which are included in the law that has passed through the Parliament, will come into effect after being signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and subsequently published in the Official Gazette.

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan stated that the holiday bonuses would be deposited into the accounts of retirees after passing through the Parliament.
