Following New Party General Chairman Özgür Özel's allegations regarding the assets of Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek, a decision was announced in the mutual lawsuit for non-pecuniary damages. The court partially accepted the non-pecuniary damages lawsuit filed by Minister Akın Gürlek and ruled that Özgür Özel pay 750,000 TL in compensation. Meanwhile, the counterclaim filed by Özgür Özel was dismissed.
DECISION ANNOUNCED VIA E-HEARING
The decision hearing in the mutual lawsuit for non-pecuniary damages filed between Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek and New Party General Chairman Özgür Özel over the allegations raised regarding Minister Gürlek's assets was held at Istanbul 3rd Civil Court of First Instance. The 1,100,000 TL non-pecuniary damages lawsuit filed by Özgür Özel against Minister Gürlek was dismissed by the court panel.
