Michal Gasparik, the head coach of Polish club Gornik Zabrze, made striking statements about Fenerbahçe, whom they will face in the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round.
''BASED ON STARS AND INDIVIDUAL QUALITY''
Commenting on Fenerbahçe's squad, Gasparik said, "Fenerbahçe has never been a strong team in terms of system. Everything there relies on stars and individual quality. We don't yet know what their squad will look like. They will undergo preseason training, and we will see their performances in friendly matches. Who was in the starting eleven and who will join them... It won't be easy."
"WE ARE DREAMING OF THE GROUP STAGE"
Continuing his remarks, the Slovak coach stated, "We all dream of the group stage. But for now, we must focus on this two-legged tie. My small goal is for us to be able to fight for something in the second match."
