Assad said, "We continue to protect our settlements and territorial integrity against all terrorists and their supporters. With the help of our allies and friends, we have the capacity to defeat and eliminate them, no matter how severe the attacks are." OPPOSITION FORCES CAPTURED IDLIB ON NOVEMBER 30On November 27, clashes began between Assad regime forces and regime-opposing armed groups in the western countryside of Aleppo province in northern Syria. On November 28, regime-opposing armed groups rapidly advanced from the western countryside of Aleppo towards the center, capturing a large part of the center on November 30. On November 30, armed groups that took control of the Khan Shaykhun district established dominance throughout Idlib and continued their advance by clashing in Hama province.
