Beşiktaş head coach Vincenzo Italiano emphasized that the team must be mentally ready before the Trabzonspor match and stated that he is pleased with Fabio Miretti's performance. Drawing attention to the importance of the match, Italiano said, "We need to get a good result so that what we have done so far matters. If we cannot win this match, the other points we have won will be meaningless."
Beşiktaş head coach Vincenzo Italiano made statements ahead of the Trabzonspor match to be played in the 8th week of the Süper Lig.
''WE ALL MUST BE READY''
Answering the question “A busy fixture schedule. After Germany, Beşiktaş are today away at Trabzonspor. How did they prepare in such a short time?”, Vincenzo Italiano said, “Trabzonspor also played on Thursday. It can be like this when you play in Europe, and this is a normal situation. We came here with only one training session. These things are also part of this job. The most important thing here is mental preparation. We all must be ready. Here you can get 3 points with a good performance. We are ready.”
''HE WILL CONTRIBUTE WELL TO US''
Speaking about Fabio Miretti, who took the shirt in Orkun Kökçü's absence, Vincenzo Italiano said, “Unfortunately, Orkun left his place to Miretti in the last match. I am happy with Miretti's performance. He is in good physical condition. I hope he will contribute well to us today. I hope he will play good matches.”
''IF WE CANNOT WIN THIS MATCH...''
Continuing his words, the Italian coach said, “Cerny is also fresh and rested since he did not play on Thursday. The same applies to Dusan. They are ready. I can say they are more ready. We must perform in the same way. We must be careful. We know how important and difficult this match is. We are playing directly against our rival. We need to get a good result so that what we have done so far matters. If we cannot win this match, the other points we have won will lose their importance.”
