EDUCATION SUSPENDED IN 1 PROVINCE
In a statement from the ministry, it was announced that transportation education in Antalya would be suspended for 1 day on December 24, and it was noted that in the provinces under orange warning, 7,749 personnel, 3,118 vehicles, 600 motor pumps, and 334 submersible pumps were on standby from AFAD Provincial Directorates and all relevant institutions. In the post shared by the Ministry of Interior, it was emphasized, "We kindly ask our citizens to carefully follow the meteorological warnings and especially to stay away from areas at risk of flooding and flash floods."
According to the latest forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, it is expected that the general country will be partly and very cloudy, with intermittent rainfall in the regions of Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, western Central Anatolia, the inner parts of the Western Black Sea, the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea, the western part of Eastern Anatolia, and Southeastern Anatolia (except Şanlıurfa), as well as in the surroundings of Karaman, Erzurum, Muş, Bitlis, and Şırnak. The precipitation is expected to be generally rain and showers, with thunderstorms in some areas along the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, and mixed rain and snow in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia.
