According to a report by the Washington Post, citing sources familiar with the matter, the Pentagon budget is expected to deplete within weeks due to US strikes against Iran.
Due to this funding crisis, the Pentagon has already imposed restrictions on training and maintenance budgets.
Defense Secretary Hegseth is expected to raise the issue at the Senate Appropriations Committee today and pressure senators for additional funding.
