AK Party Deputy Chairman and Trabzon MP Mustafa Şen, in a statement to Haberler.com before the opening of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), evaluated economic stability, pensions, and inflation. He noted that the government's priority in the new legislative term is to prepare a new Constitution.

"WE NEED A COMPLETELY CIVIL CONSTITUTION"

Mustafa Şen's statements are as follows: "This year's most important agenda will be our work on the Constitution. Turkey needs a new constitution. It really does. Because the current Constitution is a coup Constitution. No matter how much you try to civilize it, you cannot shake off the shadow of the coup. Therefore, we need a completely civil constitution. Our Speaker of the Assembly, Numan Kurtulmuş, visited all parties in the Assembly, whether they were present or not, in the previous term. At least a certain consensus has been reached on making a new Constitution. We will proceed from here."

"ECONOMIC STABILITY DEPENDS ON POLITICAL STABILITY"

"This is the reheated pilaf of our opposition. It always happens this way. There is an election, and within six months they say 'early election.' We transitioned to the Presidential Government System to avoid elections every three or six months. If you ensure political stability, economic stability will also be achieved. Thus, you can accomplish great things. These friends still have not understood the cost of instability to Turkey. This means they do not analyze politics well or understand it properly. These friends have nothing to do. Opposing in Turkey is a very comfortable thing. I wouldn't want to say this on the opening day of the Assembly, but unfortunately, it is so. You have no problems or obligations; just construct the opposite of what the government has established, and there you have opposition. This is not how opposition works. There will be no early elections in Turkey.

"INFLATION WILL CONTINUE TO DECREASE"

We are facing two major problems in the field. The issue of our retirees who receive low salaries and price stability. We are reducing inflation, and the decrease will continue. Price stability is being achieved. We will see this more clearly in the coming months."
