Within the scope of the 36th NATO Leaders Summit hosted by Ankara, US President Donald Trump, who met with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, made statements that would resonate globally before the cameras. Referring to his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump stated that he is in the process of ending the ongoing Ukraine-Russia war.
After the official welcoming ceremony and bilateral talks at Beştepe, US President Trump, standing alongside President Erdoğan before the press, shared important details about his diplomatic efforts.
