On the day Elon Musk bid farewell to his position at the U.S. Government Efficiency Department, his bruised eye caught attention. Musk explained the reason for the bruise with the words, "I was joking around with little X, I told him to hit me, and he did."
Businessman Elon Musk, who left his position at the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), appeared for the last time in front of the cameras with U.S. President Donald Trump. Musk's swollen and bruised right eye drew attention during the press conference held in the Oval Office. His condition overshadowed the press conference.
"IT HAPPENED WHILE PLAYING WITH MY SON"
In response to a question from journalists, Musk said that this happened while he was playing with his five-year-old son "X". "I was having fun with little X, I said, 'Go ahead, punch me in the face.' And he really did," Musk explained the incident with a slight smile.
"HE WILL ALWAYS BE WITH US"
President Trump responded with a laugh, saying, "Did X do it? If you knew him, you would know he could do it." Trump bid farewell to Musk, who is leaving his position, with words of praise, stating, "He will always be with us." Meanwhile, Musk's black t-shirt with "The Dogefather" written on it caught attention during the meeting.
DRUG ALLEGATIONS
Just before the press conference, a report published in the New York Times alleged that Elon Musk regularly uses various drugs. According to the report, Musk carries these substances in a box, and the dosage of use goes beyond occasional use.
Musk had previously stated in an interview that he uses drugs every two weeks and admitted that excessive use reduces his capacity to work. It remains unclear whether he used these substances during his time at the White House.
"I WASN'T EVEN NEAR FRANCE"
Musk's ironic statement regarding the bruise on his eye, "I wasn't even near France," was interpreted as a reference to the "controversial slap" video that circulated on social media involving French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron. Trump also made a joke about this, saying, "What's important in marriage is to make sure the door is closed."
