It emerged that 55-year-old Muzaffer Yanıkkollu, thought to have been injured in a minibus accident in Adana, was actually the victim of a murder. It was determined that individuals with whom he had a feud over a transportation contract assaulted and killed Yanıkkollu on the minibus. One of the suspects confessed to the crime in their statement, and it was found that the minibus's recording device had been removed. A suspect trying to flee to Georgia was apprehended at the airport. Three suspects have been arrested.
It has been revealed that 55-year-old Muzaffer Yanıkkollu, who was thought to have been injured in a minibus accident in Adana, was actually beaten to death inside the vehicle. Oğulcan Güneyer, Efehan Bolcal, and Berke Aksoy, who were detained in relation to the incident, have been arrested.
The incident occurred on the night of April 25 on the TAG Highway. After the minibus driven by Oğulcan Güneyer collided with a car, Muzaffer Yanıkkollu, who was in the vehicle, was reported as injured and taken to the hospital.
HE DIED 3 DAYS LATER
Yanıkkollu, who was taken to the hospital unconscious, lost his battle for life in intensive care 3 days later. In the investigation launched, a report prepared by the Forensic Medicine Institute revealed that there were signs of beating on Yanıkkollu's body. Additionally, it was assessed that the nature of the accident and the damage to the vehicle did not correspond to the death.
THE CABLE OF THE CAMERA RECORDER WAS CUT
Gendarmerie teams determined that the cable of the camera recorder in the minibus had been cut and removed. The fact that the other two people in the vehicle were uninjured also increased suspicions. Deepening the investigation, teams found that there was a feud between Yanıkkollu and Oğulcan Güneyer over a transportation tender.
HE SAID "LET'S TAKE HIM AND BEAT HIM UP," AND CONFESSED HIS CRIME
Oğulcan Güneyer, who initially denied the allegations by describing the accident, confessed to the murder when asked about the blood stains found at home and the injuries on his body. Güneyer stated that after drinking alcohol with his friends, they called Muzaffer Yanıkkollu to the minibus, and during an argument inside the vehicle, they beat Yanıkkollu. In his statement, the suspect said, "I said, 'Let's take him and beat him up,' and they agreed. When we argued in the vehicle, they started hitting him. Then I also beat him."
HE WAS CAUGHT WHILE TRYING TO FLEE TO GEORGIA
It was determined that suspect Berke Aksoy went to Istanbul Airport to flee to Georgia. Aksoy was caught there, while the other two suspects were detained in Adana and Kayseri. Oğulcan Güneyer, Efehan Bolcal, and Berke Aksoy, who were referred to the courthouse, were arrested on charges of "intentional homicide."
