Fraudsters who come for delivery by claiming that you have a cargo package are scamming citizens using the "window" method. They have you sign a delivery receipt on which they have placed a promissory note and cut it to align with the signature area.

Stating that the way to prevent this is through the signature you will make, Document Expert Chief Inspector Umut Yalçındağ said, "I am delivering a package to you and I need your signature. You are signing next to your name. They have previously cut the area where you are signing in a way that will not be noticed and placed a promissory note behind it. While you think you are signing the cargo delivery receipt, you are actually signing a blank promissory note. Subsequently, the criminals write the amount they desire, putting you under a heavy debt."

Yalçındağ also warned citizens regarding the issue, saying, "For this reason, we ask our citizens to do the following; when you sign, make sure to extend your signature outside the frame.
