THERE IS NO RISK FOR THE WORLD CUP
Speaking at the daily press conference, Sheinbaum responded to questions regarding the recent developments in Jalisco state and the city of Guadalajara. She emphasized that despite the roadblocks, arson, and clashes with security forces following the killing of one of the country's most wanted crime syndicate leaders, Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, there is no risk for the World Cup.
FULL SECURITY WILL BE PROVIDED FOR TOURISTS AND PLAYERS
The President stated that full security will be provided for tourists, players, technical teams, and fans for the matches to be held in Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara.
13 MATCHES WILL BE PLAYED IN MEXICO
The country will host a total of 13 matches in the tournament, with significant matches taking place especially at the legendary Azteca Stadium.
