Slaven Bilic, the Croatian coach who is among the candidates for the head coach position of Beşiktaş, made a statement regarding the claims that he would take over the black-and-white team.

Journalist Ali Ece, speaking on Vole, revealed what the Croatian coach said about the Beşiktaş claims during his conversation with Slaven Bilic. Ece stated that Bilic has not yet received an offer, saying, "I spoke with Slaven Bilic in the morning. He asked, 'How are you?' I replied, 'I was fine until I remembered the points table.' He said, 'This is our Beşiktaş, you are right.' I asked if there was an offer, and he said, 'Just rumors. I haven't received anything.'"
