The Pipeline Transportation Company did not make any changes to the wholesale prices of natural gas.

Petroleum Pipeline Transportation Inc. (BOTAŞ) announced that there will be no changes to the wholesale natural gas sales prices effective from November 1, 2024.

In a statement from BOTAŞ, it was noted that the organization determines the wholesale natural gas sales prices at the most reasonable level possible, taking into account market conditions, the country's economic conditions, market price stability, the decisions of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority regarding tariffs, and changes in cost elements such as purchase and operating expenses, and presents them to consumers.

The statement said, "In this context, no changes have been made to the Wholesale Natural Gas Sales Prices effective from November 1, 2024, by our organization."

BOTAŞ stated that based on the Household Energy Price Index (HEPI) prices, Turkey has the lowest natural gas price among European countries after Ukraine for residential use.
