Deputy Minister of Interior Bülent Turan, stating that he has known President Erdoğan since his childhood, said: "I am a man who knows Tayyip Erdoğan. I have been by his side since my childhood. I am a man who knows that he does not forgive those who do wrong. I am a man who knows that his scalpel is strong. When the time comes, we will see together what he will do."
Deputy Minister of Interior Bülent Turan made important assessments on current issues in Çanakkale, where he went to attend a series of programs and openings. During his visit to the AK Party Lapseki District Presidency, Turan touched on the intra-party stance and judicial processes and gave clear messages, stating that they would not protect anyone who does wrong.
"TAYYIP ERDOĞAN DOES NOT FORGIVE THOSE WHO DO WRONG" Drawing attention to the sad and exhausting current issues experienced recently, Deputy Minister Turan emphasized that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's stance on these matters is clear and used the following statements: "But I say with honor: I am a man who knows Tayyip Erdoğan. I have been by his side since my childhood. I am a man who knows that he does not forgive those who do wrong. I am a man who knows that his scalpel is firm. When the time comes, we will see together what he will do. Lawsuits were filed with very serious allegations against senior officials of some political parties. But square by square, they protected their own friends. Today there are detained advisers, politicians, businessmen, and bureaucrats. We did not say; 'Even if our friend does wrong, we will protect him.' We are together so as not to do wrong. We said that if any of you does wrong, we will do what is necessary. The State Supervisory Council (DDK) report has not yet been released. Let the report come out, and we will see who is who. The judiciary has not yet completed many of its works. Let it complete them. In other words, far from shielding and protecting the guilty, let whoever is guilty be revealed as soon as possible so that we can continue on our way without tarnishing the clean memory of 25 years. Why should a large mass be under suspicion because of the personal mistake, the wrong done by 3 men or 5 wrong people?"
"FETÖ MUST NOT BE A TOOL FOR LEGITIMIZING YOUR INSTITUTIONS" Reiterating his determination in the fight against FETÖ, Turan warned some circles in Çanakkale not to make room for names confirmed as FETÖ members by court decisions: "FETÖ is not my enemy; it is this country's enemy. I am saying this so that you know well why operations were carried out against us. Look, I am warning again from this square. FETÖ does not disappear; it hides, conceals itself, infiltrates among you; do not give it an opportunity. I am calling out to those in Çanakkale who call the men whom the world knows as FETÖ members, whom the court has confirmed as FETÖ members, and whom Tayyip Erdoğan expelled as FETÖ members with his signature 'businessmen, sports clubs, this and that' and sponsor them: Your path is wrong. Look at the court decision, look at the records, support good people. Do not see yourselves, our party, your institutions, or your offices as tools for legitimizing wrong people and wrong deeds. If there is anyone who will not love me because of this, let them not love me anyway. I believe I have come from the bosom of this nation. It is our duty to say stop to those who do wrong."
INTENSE ROUND OF CONTACTS IN ÇANAKKALE Within the scope of his Çanakkale program, Turan first carried out the opening of a physiotherapy center in Lapseki district and then attended the ceremony for the purchase of new service vehicles by Lapseki Municipality; after his speech at the AK Party District Presidency, he also visited the MHP and BBP district presidencies.
Later moving to Kepez town, Deputy Minister of Interior Bülent Turan completed his program by opening a country wedding and breakfast house and visiting the AK Party Kepez Town Presidency. During his contacts, AK Party Çanakkale Provincial Chairman Abdurrahman Kuzu and AK Party MKYK members Naim Makas and Jülide İskenderoğlu accompanied Turan.
