Trendyol 1st League is going through tough times, and Yeni Malatyaspor, which has not yet won a match, reiterated its request to withdraw from the league during a meeting between its president, Şahin Altınok, and the President of the Turkish Football Federation, İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu. Altınok also shared the response he received from the TFF.

RESPONSE FROM TFF PRESIDENT HACIOSMANOĞLU

Yeni Malatyaspor Club President Şahin Altınok stated that earthquakes are still ongoing in the city, saying, "Immediately after taking office, a new earthquake occurred in the city. The situation of the players is evident. After the earthquake, I immediately contacted the Turkish Football Federation. I insisted to President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu that we do not want to play in this league due to the negative circumstances and considering the psychological state of the players, and that I wanted to withdraw from the league while keeping our rights reserved. Mr. Hacıosmanoğlu replied, 'We cannot do this. The schedule is disrupted, some clubs do not want this. However, if President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan declares a force majeure, no one can say anything.'

"WE WANT BROTHERHOOD AND SISTERHOOD"

Our Minister of Youth and Sports, Osman Aşkın Bak, also mentioned the same situation. We want to discuss this issue with our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan when he comes to Malatya and reach a solution. We may not have a father, but we want all our politicians and mayors to take on the role of brotherhood and sisterhood in whatever duty they will undertake," he said.

TRANSFER BAN AND 20 MILLION DOLLARS DEBT

Club President Altınok also provided information regarding the club's debts. He stated that even if the debts are paid, there will still be transfer bans until June, saying, "The club's debt is approximately 20 million dollars. 99% of this is with our 36 players who have lawsuits. We have assigned 3 lawyers to work on these 36 cases. As a result of discussions with these players, we have almost resolved about 10 million dollars of the debt. We want to eliminate the transfer ban by closing the remaining debt together in unity and solidarity and look ahead," he said.
