Yusuf Demir, who left Galatasaray and returned to his former team Rapid Wien, made statements about the yellow-red club that will be widely discussed. Referring to the injury he suffered in past years, Yusuf Demir said, 'The process at Galatasaray was very difficult for me. After my injury, I couldn’t even wear a shoe on my ankle. Despite this, I was offered an injection and advised to travel with the team. Of course, I refused because I didn’t know what was in that injection.'
Yusuf Demir, who left Galatasaray in February 2026 and transferred to his former club Rapid Wien on a free transfer, made striking statements about his time at the yellow-red club. The young footballer talked about his experiences, especially during his injury period, on the program "SK Rapid Podcast."
THE INJURY PROCESS IN 2022
Demir, who returned to Istanbul from the Austria U21 National Team camp in September 2022 with an ankle injury, stated that his ankle was severely swollen and that he could neither train nor wear football boots during the preparation process for the Adana Demirspor match.
