Turkish national shooting athlete Yusuf Dikeç gained worldwide fame with the silver medal he won at the Paris Olympics and his air pistol shooting style. While Dikeç denied claims that L'Equipe newspaper demanded a fee for an interview, he also made significant statements regarding the series. Yusuf Dikeç, the Turkish national shooting athlete who won a silver medal for Turkey alongside his teammate Şevval İlayda Tarhan at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games and gained worldwide fame with his shooting style, denied allegations that L'Equipe newspaper requested 30,000 Euros from him for an interview. Dikeç stated that he had no discussions with the mentioned newspaper, saying, "We also went to Serbian television, we did a program, we didn't take a single penny. I appeared on three programs a day in Turkey, and I didn't ask for payment from any of them. These claims may have arisen as a result of a conversation with my lawyer, but I don't know anything about this situation," he said. Additionally, Dikeç mentioned that he received an offer for the 2nd season of the series "The Day of the Jackal" but declined it, emphasizing that "Everyone should do the job they know," as he is focused on sports. Dikeç stated that he appeared in the trailer of the series but did not agree to participate in the 2nd season because most of the filming would take place in Spain, which could hinder his sports career. Dikeç also responded to a question about Elon Musk, saying, "I had invited him to Istanbul, and the Ministry of Tourism was also planning this visit. But now Musk has become a minister, and his schedule is busy; time will tell, we will see," he said.
