The Zero Waste Festival welcomes its visitors at Atatürk Airport with events on energy efficiency, circular economy, technology, and art. On the third day, children's workshops, sand art, theater, concerts, and talks are held.
Awareness events are held on the third day of the Zero Waste Festival. Workshops for children and young people on producing toys and artworks from recycled materials, environment-themed games, competitions, and interactive educational programs are carried out.
FAMOUS COMEDIAN TO TAKE THE STAGE Veysel Çelikdemir's sand art show, a talk with Mehmet Teber, children's special theater plays, and paper production activities will take place. At the festival, where comedian Gökhan Ünver will present a humor show drawn from daily life, Poizi and Sefo will take the stage in the evening hours.
At the festival, the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) are conducting activities related to international cuisines, zero-waste kitchen, zero waste in the kitchen, energy efficiency, and transformation aesthetics.

"TRANSFORMATION AESTHETICS" EXHIBITION TİKA promotes environmental resource consumption and waste management through metal and plastic sculptures in curator Beste Gürsu's "Transformation Aesthetics" exhibition. TİKA, conveying through the works that the Zero Waste vision is not just an environmental policy, also aims to reveal that it involves a cultural and productive transformation approach.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL The Zero Waste Festival, realized under the auspices of Emine Erdoğan, Chair of the United Nations (UN) Zero Waste High-Level Advisory Board and Honorary President of the Zero Waste Foundation, in cooperation with the Zero Waste Foundation and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, will welcome visitors at Atatürk Airport until June 7 with its comprehensive content ranging from energy efficiency to circular economy, technology to art.
The festival brings together cultural, artistic, and scientific events under the theme "Efficiency in Energy, Transformation in the Future."
The festival area features various applications appealing to all segments, from children to young people, families to technology enthusiasts.
In the festival, which has a very broad content from renewable energy technologies to AI-supported applications, recycling workshops to sustainable transportation solutions, participants can analyze their own environmental impact through circular economy practices, waste management systems, carbon and water footprint measurement areas.
In special experience areas prepared with virtual reality technologies, changes in ecosystems and the effects of the climate crisis can be observed interactively.
In the Zero Waste Museum area, presentations questioning production and consumption habits take place, while exhibitions prepared utilizing the transformative power of art draw attention to the limited nature of resources and invite visitors to a more sustainable lifestyle.
The festival aims to create social awareness beyond being an environment-themed event, for the efficient use of resources, the widespread adoption of conscious consumption habits, and the strengthening of environmental responsibility awareness.
