After Muslera's departure, Galatasaray continued their search for a goalkeeper and has considered Yann Sommer. It has been reported that the 36-year-old Swiss goalkeeper is seeking a 2-year contract with Galatasaray and an annual salary of 7-8 million euros.
After the departure of Fernando Muslera, who played for Galatasaray for 14 years, the search for a goalkeeper continues. The latest goalkeeper candidate on the agenda of the yellow-reds is Inter's goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
GARDI RECOMMENDED SOMMER
The yellow-reds, who want to add Chelsea's goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic to their squad, turned to other alternatives as the English club's transfer fee did not drop below 25 million euros. In this context, manager George Gardi, who brought world stars to Galatasaray, suggested the name Yann Sommer to the management.
REQUESTED FEE FROM GALATASARAY
In this regard, Abdullah Kavukçu, the Vice President of Sportif AŞ, gave approval to Gardi to negotiate with Sommer. During the discussions, it was stated that the 36-year-old Yann Sommer requested a 2-year contract and an annual salary of 7-8 million euros from Galatasaray.
