81 BODY BAGS USED
It was stated that the bodies of the individuals who lost their lives in the tragedy were examined and numbered in the field tent set up at the scene, and although some bodies were found to be intact, many were carbonized and unrecognizable.
On the first day, bodies or body parts were examined in 79 separate bags, and it was reported that this number reached 81 with the discovery of 2 additional body parts in the searches conducted the following day.
